The mission of Discovery Homeschool Academy (DHA) is to provide a high quality education with college degreed teachers; to lay a strong spiritual foundation from which students will grow and mature in the image of Jesus Christ; to provide weekly opportunities to interact and develop friendships among peer groups in a Christian atmosphere; and to pray for, support, and partner with families in the homeschool community.

About us
Discovery Homeschool Academy (DHA) has enjoyed providing programs for homeschool students in the Kansas City area for over 20 years!
DHA offers two great program options!
DHA Enrichment Program The DHA Enrichment program is a weekly 1-day program for students Pre-K to 10th grade. Students are creatively challenged with hands-on activities throughout the day. Students are assigned to a class for the school year where they develop friendships and travel from specialty teacher to specialty teacher through the day. Students enjoy classes in Music, Art, PE, STEM, Social Studies, and Spanish. Pre-K and Kindergarten are self-contained classrooms, and grades 7th-10th will have block scheduling with classes specific to their age. | DHA Academic Program The DHA Academic Program is a weekly 2-day program for students Pre-K through high school. Qualified teachers work with students on core subjects on Mondays and Wednesdays from mid-August to May. Teachers will also provide student assignments that are to be completed on Thursday and Friday weekly at home. The classroom teacher will provide support and partner with parents, but parents are the primary teacher and will determine the final grades for students. |
